This is a wonderful organic cotton ribbing, an opaque and medium-light weight knit with a rib stitch that looks the same on both sides. Produced in Turkey for a North American company, this fabric is Oeko-Tex certified as well as organic, assuring non-toxic fibers, chemicals and dyes. It has about 30% widthwise stretch and is stable lengthwise. The color is classic black. Note the width. This ribbing pairs perfectly with our line of organic cotton fleece-backed sweatshirt knits and is great for collars, cuffs and hems or for casual separates, knit tops, loungewear, a sweater dress, etc. So soft! Machine wash gentle, hang to dry or tumble on low, do not bleach. PLEASE NOTE: For ribbings we have a 1/2 yard minimum. Please enter 1 yard (the minimum order in the shopping cart), and ask in the comments for the amount you actually need. We'll update the yardage before billing.
